Content Removal Services

Remove what's hurting you. Every case gets the specific process for that platform or record type — no templates, no generic solutions.

Quick overview

  • Six removal paths live under this hub: reviews, news articles, court records, mugshots, private images, and Google de-indexing. See all six services.
  • Private, non-consensual images qualify for free, purpose-built removal channels most people never find on their own — before any paid service should even be considered. See all six removal paths.
  • Dealing with exposed personal data rather than one specific piece of content? That's Privacy Protection. See related services.

What content removal covers

Content removal covers everything you can point to and say "that shouldn't be there."

  • A one-star review that's actually a competitor's fake account.
  • A years-old news story that no longer reflects who you are.
  • A court record from a case that was dismissed.
  • A mugshot from an arrest that never led to a conviction.
  • A leaked photo that was never meant to leave a private conversation.

Each of these lives on a different platform, under a different policy, with a different removal path — and treating them the same way is why so many DIY attempts and generic services fail.

That's why content removal isn't one service here — it's six, each built around how a specific type of platform actually works.

  • Google's own removal tools apply to search results, not the underlying page.
  • Review platforms like Google and Yelp have their own policy-violation reporting systems, separate from legal takedown routes.
  • Court-record aggregators and mugshot sites often run opt-out processes site by site, with no single form that reaches all of them.
  • News publishers respond to direct outreach and legal requests differently than a search engine does.
  • Private, non-consensual images qualify for free, purpose-built removal channels that most people never find on their own — before any paid service should even be considered.

How we approach every case

The services below are organized by content type, not by platform, because that's how the removal process actually branches. Whichever one applies to your situation, the approach is the same: identify exactly where the content lives and how it got indexed, use the specific removal or suppression channel that platform actually honors, and confirm the result — not just submit a request and hope.

If removal genuinely isn't possible for a given piece of content — some public records, for example, can be removed from search results but not deleted at the source — suppression is the fallback: pushing it off the visible first page rather than leaving it as the top result for your name. That's a related but different service (see Suppression, below), and the two are often combined in the same case.

Common questions

Is content removal the same as suppression?

No. Removal means the content itself, or its listing in Google's search results, is taken down. Suppression means the content stays online, but it's pushed off the visible search results for your name by ranking other content above it. We always attempt removal first wherever it's realistically possible — suppression is the fallback for content that genuinely can't be removed.

How do I know if I need removal or suppression?

It usually depends on where the content lives, not on how damaging it feels. Content on platforms with a real removal or opt-out process — most reviews, images, and some public records — is a removal candidate. Content that's factually accurate and hosted by a legitimate news publisher, or a public record that must legally remain available at the source, usually isn't removable — that's where suppression comes in.
